We always start with the customer and work backward. We work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust. Although we pay attention to competitors, we obsess over customers at our real estate investment firm.

Fall in love with the problem, not the solution

Falling in love with the problem means accepting your ideas might be wrong. It means the solution that’s in front of you, regardless of how much work you’ve put into it, isn’t valuable until it’s been successfully tested with the end user. Most importantly, it means that ideas are not precious; the problem is.

Good is better than perfect

We have a high bar for quality, but rather than tinkering in a lab, we prefer to put our solutions in front of customers to learn, collect feedback, and improve more quickly.
