The Archer Public API is live, in limited beta
The first release of our public API is available now for Pro clients, free during the beta, with documentation at docs.archer.re. Available today: property information, location metrics, and your underwriting data, the core of every deal record in your account, behind clean, documented endpoints.
What teams build on it is up to them, but the first patterns are already obvious:
- Reporting that’s never stale. Feed portfolio dashboards and BI tools with live property and underwriting data instead of the monthly export-and-paste ritual.
- The work outside Archer. The IC memo, the fundraising deck, the investor-relations cycle, powered by the numbers you’ve already built, pulled live.
- One source of truth. Sync deal state into your system of record, so Archer and your CRM stop drifting apart.
- Institutional memory, queryable. Your deal history, available to any internal system that can make an HTTP request.
Your data was always yours. That’s been our position since day one, and it’s why our SOC 2 Type II audit covers the full pipeline your data moves through, not a single app. The API is that principle made practical: yours to keep, and now yours to move.
What’s coming, in order
We’re deliberately starting focused and expanding fast, and we’ll tell you the order out loud:
- Comps. Your proprietary rent comps, expense comps, and sale comps, programmatically. For a lot of teams this is the one they’ve been waiting for: the compounding dataset your team builds with every parse, finally flowing into your own tools.
- Rent Roll & T12 detail. The full parsed line-item detail of every document you run through Archer, mapped to your Chart of Accounts.
- Pipeline and beyond. Deal pipeline state, and we’re exploring the Deal Inbox surface after that.
The roadmap for this surface will be shaped by the teams building on it. That’s not a platitude; it’s how we’ve built everything else. In-App Parsing, Custom COA, BYOM: every one of them got where it is because clients told us, specifically and repeatedly, what they needed. If there’s an endpoint you need, tell us. You’ll probably see it sooner than you expect.
Coming soon: talk to your deal data in your AI
One more thing, briefly, because it deserves its own announcement when it lands: an Archer MCP server is on the way. MCP is the open standard that lets AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) connect directly to live systems. Which means, soon: “Which deals in my pipeline have expense ratios above my portfolio average?” asked in plain English, answered from your live Archer data. No exports. No copy-paste. No stale spreadsheet pretending to be current.
